Zoomers exhaust

Hey guys,

I just wanted to let you know that I have been in contact with Ron at Zoomers exhaust regarding a system for our trucks since November... It looks like we are shooting for the middle of next month to get started on the prototype (we have been trying to coordinate our schedules).

I'm looking forward to getting a less restrictive system on my Jeep to see what kind numbers it puts down. Ron told me that they plan on doing some baseline dyno runs before he takes off the stock system to see where were at. He'll then put it back on the dyno to see what kind of numbers we get with the new system. They recently got dyno #'s for the 300 SRT8 they were Horsepower: 22.6 HP gain @6100rpm, 21.8 HP gain @5400rpm, 16.8 HP gain @4200rpm Torque: 23.5Ft-lbs @3700rpm, 20.3 Ft-lbs @4700rpm, 18.2 Ft-lbs @5600rpm.

Those are pretty impressive numbers IMO and remember that the Jeep SRT8 is rated at 420 hp because of a more restrictive exhaust, so the numbers might be even better. Like Inferno SRT8, I have some rattle issues that my dealer is currently dealing with (cat). By doing this system, I will hopefully eliminate the entire problem. I also like the fact that the Zoomers system has no cabin resonance or annoying drown.....anyway I will keep you guys posted as we get closer to the middle of March.

Re: Zoomers exhaust

If I Had my Jeep the middle of next month couldnt come faster....Looking forward to seeing what the Zoomers team come up with, the audiofiles sound great and those numbers are very very encouraging.
qustion though do you intend on keeping the dual center mount exhaust or have them exit rear wheel.
Thanks for the post!

NASRT, I do intend to keep the center mount (I dont have anything to tow). I just love the sound that there system makes...I've had Bassani, Magnaflow, flowmaster, etc. on previous vehicles and the sound that the Zoomers system makes is different from all of those.

Center mount tips are what make the truck cool...We are looking forward to getting to work on this project, and after seeing those pictures, hopefully we'll build it with a lot less bends...
