Numbered vs newer

Looking at used Challenger SRT-8's.....and really would prefer manual, but salesmen keep pointing out getting a "numbered" '08 is better in the long run.....there any truth to that or they just pushing what they have?

I don't believe that you or I will be around by the time these appreciate to a level that a "numbered car" would matter.

+1...totally agree. in a way im sure they are trying to push their inventory. he has a point, but its going to be 30-40 years before these show any turn around in value
