Re: Injected Engineering Ripoff
Yeah, I think that's who it was buddy. So Howie must be talking about the initial builders of the project (Injected). From what I understood, Creative offered to help fix or give advice to the issues he was having. Either way, I hope it all gets resolved.

Injected Engineering Response
Hope everyone had a great 4th of July! Please take time to read our response.
Since 2004 Injected Engineering has serviced, tuned and repaired over 1500 high performance vehicles without any outstanding complaints. As you can imagine we have seen our share of vehicles in all makes, models and combinations. Our technicians have well over 15 years of experience with custom builds, installation, service and tuning. When an engine fails in this manner there can be many contributing factors. Typically with late model Hemi engines this is a common problem on supercharged or turbo combinations due to insufficient piston material on the top ringland of the piston. Many reputable tuners, experienced engine builders, performance shops and Mopar enthusiasts have experienced similar engine damage with the undue stress of aftermarket modifications on their engine. All of us with a performance vehicle enjoy the power and torque that is created with the added modifications. However, when a vehicle has been extremely modified, it is important to be aware of the risks that come along with those modifications. With that being said, the work that was completed by Injected Engineering on this vehicle was top notch. As with all of our customers, we educate and caution them to be very careful when exceeding the limits of a stock engine. We have a complete history of documentation on this particular vehicle with a full description of the customer’s requirements for additional boost beyond the recommended limits of a stock engine. Even so, and because customer satisfaction is our top priority, we extended the opportunity on 3-26-09 for Injected Engineering to diagnose and correct this problem with one full day of mechanical labor at no charge. Although it seems the problem has since been corrected our offer still stands for any remaining labor that needs to be completed. In closing, we have a high moral obligation to discuss these matters privately with our clients on the phone or face-to-face and will always fly above the clouds to resolve any issues where possible. We choose to not engage in email or public conversations when emotions are running high. I’m sure some of you have experienced the wrongful interpretation of emails and forum posts when emotions take over in these types of situations, only adding to the frustration and delaying of resolving such matters. We invite the many friends and loyal customers of Injected Engineering to provide a fair and honest assessment of how we have handled their particular situation. Please visit us at InjectedEngineering.com and thank you for your understanding and objectivity in this matter.

Re: Injected Engineering Ripoff
Ryan,
As I applaud your response and fully understand that your company has a policy to "Not" discuss these issues in a public forum, I need to ask and explain a few things between your response and Howards original post. Howard has 4 popped pistons, not 1. Yes, our stock pistons lacks material between the top ring land to the piston top, but in modern hemi history, if too much boost is applied to a stock bottom end, only one piston will go south, not four. Since there is more than one piston gone bad, this leads me to believe (and yes, I am more than experienced with blown motors and how they went bad) that tuning was the issue here. To be fair, it certainly is a possibility that too much boost could be a factor as well, but the majority is in the tuning. JMHO. This is not mine or anyone elses fight and should be handled as such. I would certainly like to see a happy ending from/for both party's involved.

Re: Injected Engineering Ripoff
I am a long time Injected Engineering customer. They have modified my stock 98 Lincoln Mark VIII into a 4000 pound 11 second sleeper over the past few years. Their professionalism, workmanship, integrity, and customer service is second to none.
I have had issues with my build, if you can imagine, trying to hot rod a luxury car that has zero performance parts specifically made for a Lincoln, and Injected Engineering resolved every single issue to my satisfaction. Aric and Ryan have gone way out of their way to make sure I am happy, and have spent countless hours consulting, researching, and building my dream car. It is very much appreciated too. A lot of thought and time went into my build, and it shows. I hope this situation can be resolved privately between the parties involved, as Aric and Ryan with Injected Engineering are good people, and the only place I will take my car to be serviced.

Re: Injected Engineering Ripoff
Remebering that opinions are like buttholes, everyone has one and they all stink, I would like to lend my experiences with Injected Engineering. I have actually known Aric for some time by way of him tuning my 2001 Mustang GT some 6 or 7 years ago when he was working elsewhere. He has ALWAYS been a stand up guy and IMHO, knows his s#$t. In my first visit to Injected Engineering the summer of 2008 for a CMR tune, I then had the pleasure of meeting Ryan, not even knowing at the time that Aric was now in business at Injected Engineering. Again, both Ryan and Aric are great guys but what strikes you immediately about both is the passion for their work, (they specialize in much more than HEMIs) the presentation and preservation of the Injected Enginnering "brand" and the sincerity for how they do business. That's all well and good, but did they back it up with the work done on my car and that is a definitive "YES"!!! Not only did they not try to talk me into getting extra bulls*^t mods or F/I or heads and a different cam for my car, they actually asked me what I wanted to accomplish with my car, not only now, but in the future. No sales job for product or services, just a simple "Hey, if you like the work that we've done, come back and check us out and let others know about us." Cool. Tune was great, car was running strong. I talked to Andy at PPP at found that pulleys were available so I purchased one and needing someone to install the pulley, called Injected Engineering to talk to Ryan. First install of a pulley on a HEMI that I knew of UNRELATED to a cam install in the Atlanta metro area so this was all new to which Ryan quoted me a ridiculously LOW price for the install. I go to have the pulley installed on a Saturday and after a bit of time, it was determined that certain tools were needed that the shop hadn't gotten yet so the install could not be done. Mind you; I live about one hour travel time ONE WAY to the shop so having to get the pulley installed another day totally killed my enthusiasm. They were more genuinely disappointed than I was because they did not provide the type of excellent service that they stand by. Without bartering, without any cajoling on my part for Injected Engineering to "hook me up", both Ryan and Aric told me to come back in two weeks and they would install the pulley FOR FREE which they did upon my return to the shop. Not only that, they also changed my oil FOR FREE. To add to that just over three months ago, I deleted my CMR tune and even though they sent it to me numerous times to re-load to my Predator, I, for some reason could not get it to work. The guys asked me to come to the shop about three weeks ago and not only re-loaded my tune back to my Predator within five minutes of me getting there, they saved it to a USB stick that I brought just to back my tune up. Now what they've done for me may sound small to many of you reading this post, but TO ME, Injected Engineering has always been straight up with me and always done great work on my car. Another thing is that I can just call up and talk to the guys and they ALWAYS have a moment to talk mods and give their honest opinion on some of stuff that may or may not benefit my car; always keeping in mind my stated original goals for the car. I say all of that to say this, I trust these guys and that trust is genuine. For everyone that does not know these guys or have had any dealings with Injected, don't pile on because if you have not had an encounter with them, how can an opinion of someone you don't know be valid? There's perception and there's reality and I can ONLY speak from my dealings with Injected Engineering which have always been great. Bad thing is that any vendor that gets bashed on any forum CAN"T WIN; no matter what they try to do to pacify the situation. Injected Engineering is a top quality operation and I know that I am not the only customer that believes that.

Re: Injected Engineering Ripoff
^^^ LMFAO, i agree, i got a bag of popcorn and a coke
Seriously though, good work will always be over shadowed by bad customer service. Seems like this guy only got more and more pissed by them ignoring his calls and emails. He has alot of proof that they screwed his car up but, thats not the issue to me. I could care less about the problem, im more concerned with the solution and it seems like he got no assistance on doing so. Good luck Howdee, im with you Bro.
