New here, but member of LXforums (4/05) and Charger forums (10/05).

I Finally got my Charger SRT8 in 10 days ago. All I can say right now is WOW! You couldn't pry the grin off my face with a crowbar. Working at the dealership is good, I got both door panels and the trunk build sheets and the transit sheet (usually thrown away). Wanted to get pictures unloading from the carrier, but they dropped it at night and tossed the keys in the night drop box. The cars are shipped missing a couple of fuses so key systems aren't functional, making them harder to steal. The car was totally filthy from the rail ride down from Canada, it even had rusty water stains running down the sides from being stacked on the railcar. Kinda like a newborn baby, only mom and dad can appreciate the beauty at arrival. It cleaned up perfect though. Handling and braking are awesome (loads of brake dust though)...acceleration is surprising at first, but within a couple of days you get used to it and maybe want a little more.

How long before the brakes stop dusting so much? I heard they do. I have 518 miles now.

Also wanted to let anyone who is looking know that we have an SRT8 Magnum on the ground now. It's GRP I and II, sunroof, Inferno red..MRSP is $41,015. No markup!! .

We have an Inferno Charger SRT8 on order, GRP I II III, sunroof and side curtains. This car is not in our in-transit book, no vin, no status yet. But will also sell for MSRP when it arrives. (if it doesn't sell before)

I know some are selling for way over and some are under the MSRP. So try not to flame me about pricing.

I don't have a chance to get on the forums very often any more, so call me if interested in either. Used to be retired, but after 2 years got really bored. One extreme to the other, now working 6 days a week, 11 hours a day.
Can PM me also, I'll try to check it every couple days.

Congrats Howard.... Know you will/are enjoying the ride. Sorry, but the brake dust does not go away. SRT Engineers and Brimbo are working on a new pad to help control this issue. Stay tuned for more information.

If you have any questions please PM me.

I was afraid of that. One of our sales guys has an SRT10 with 4,100 miles and his are still dusting a lot. Thanks for the welcome.
Later,
Howard

Yea, my wife has the SRT10 Ram as well. The issue is aluminum rims + brake dust + static = Clean rims every other day. lol
