Could we possibly start a sticky thread with those who have successfully (or not so much) used different size tires on their SRT8's stock rims.

When the time comes for replacement it would be helpful to know what works and what doesn't. It seems that the actual experience of forum members could be a valuable tool when making a selection.

The info should include:

Brand
Model
Size front
Size rear
Spacers (y/n, and size)
Vendor
Price

Also include any info about clearance issues, and just a general opinion of the tire and your experience with it on your car.

i know people are using 275 40 20s with no issues. i just started a thread about doing a 275 40 20 in the front and a 315 35 20 in the rear, of course you most likely would want a wider rear wheel. but i think it would work.

I tried the 275 in front for a test fit and it wouldn't even go on all the way because of the A-arm. Stock wheels.

how far off are they, I know one of my customers just bought a set of the chrome Charger SRT8 replicas we sell and he requested 275 40 20s for it and I have not heard back from him saying that he had any trouble, but I don’t know if he had an RT or an SRT8.
