I guess we annexed Brampton Ont.. as according to Jay the car is built in Detroit... well I guess it is close to Detroit in a general sense...

Yeah, he got a few things wrong... plus the engine is made in Mexico. And at least in my 2006 MSRT8 the transmission is made in Stuttgart. Plus, of course it can hang with the German cars. Rear axile, transmission, steering column... where is that coming from... the old E Class.

And he said the new Challenger was faster than his older hemi? How would he know if the motor is so new?

2008 Dodge Challenger SRT8 4.7 13.0 (R&T July '08)
1968 Dodge Charger, Auto, 4.8, 13.5 (C&D Nov '67)
This is all i could find to compare with and the 68 charger was about 200 lbs lighter and with NO AC and 3.23 gears.
I dont think the 08 challengers have a posi rear either like JAY said. CHRYSLER cant verify it either and on the order sheet it doesnt list posi rear as stardard eq or and option.
