We have just picked a new product line. Hilborn Fuel Injection. Take alook at this:

This EFI kit includes an ECU that allows you to tune your engine simply and accurately without a laptop computer. The fuel injector manifold features a split throttle shaft design for smooth performance with gasoline set-ups.

STANDARD EFI KIT INCLUDES THESE ITEMS: Fuel injector manifold assembled with TPS, fuel rails, & vacuum kit, injectors, wiring harness, Carabine ECU, two fuel filters, steel ram tubes, Weldon electric fuel pump and pressure regulator, and an MSD tach adapter. The entire package is factory tested on a wet flow bench to match the engine fuel flow requirements and comes with a step by step installation and tuning manual. OPTIONAL EFI KIT ITEMS: Remote thermostat housing, 0-60psi pressure gauge.

Higher horsepower engines (600+ hp) may require higher flow injectors and/or fuel pump at a higher price.

Engine Chrysler hemi 5.7L, 6.1L

Bore Size 2-3/16"

Online Price: $5922.00

Now if we could only get this to work on a LX body. Talk about old school meets new school.

Looks great. Does $6,000 get me any performance gains? $6,000 can buy some serious mods.

These are/were designed for using on older cars, not with the LX vehicles. It is just another fuel injection system that brings the old school look of the old time dragsters. As for the actual performance gains, well we are still acquiring the details on all of the kits that are available. Once we have more information, we would be happy to post it.

I believe Hillborn claims a 40hp gain on the 6.1 (I've had my eye on this set up for quite some time)
besides, it's worth 6k to see all the eyes pop out every time you open the hood!

with Predator or SMR/SCT it *could*work on a LX/LY platform

Open the hood?...I bet the stacks are too high. It might to be better to have a clear plexiglass hood scoop that covers them.

From Hilborn site:
"Althought they perform very well on the street, they are not "street legal" or suitable for emission controlled vehicles, so we recommend that you check your local laws first."

Air Filter units look nice also. Here are some for the 2-3/16" bore units:

Here are the EFI units from the Hilborn site...better pic.

Could you imagine 8 velocity stacks stick out of the hood on lets say a Magnum? Talk about a WOW factor. Well anyone who is going to the Spring Festival in Irvine just might have the chance to expience that WOW factor.
